We pride ourselves on providing a great way for juniors to get involved in playing golf here at Sunbury Golf, with lessons available for ages 4-16 all year round.
With our weekend clubs and after school sessions running in term time, you can get your young golfer confident all year round. Children work in age groups and aim to reach coloured levels which gear them up to getting out on the course.
“A kid grows up a lot faster on the golf course. Golf teaches you how to behave.” – Jack Nicklaus
With more time to practice, our holiday camps are a great way to give children a good idea of what it is like to play and practice in a professional capacity, as well as allowing them to develop their skills with our GDPs. Juniors play games in the morning to pick up and refine basic skills, then move onto the course in the afternoon to put them into practice, with the intention of getting them ready to play a round.
Birdie Camp
Birdie camp runs as a half day, from 9am to 12pm, and is better for less experienced juniors who need to work on their foundation, before moving up to Eagle camp.
Eagle Camp
This runs all day, from 9am to 4pm, and is suited to children with more experience who are starting to develop the course skills they need to move onto playing full rounds.
